PROJECT UCON | TERMINAL 2
AL SHAHEED PARK | FEB 6-13
Human beings engage with buildings when they are in the occupancy period and have completed construction but the impact of those buildings start as early as the preliminary phases of design. Project UCON Is an initiative that aims to build connections between buildings that are under construction and the communities they will serve by engaging the public with the construction site in an awareness campaign that offers social activities, workshops, exhibition and seminars.

PROJECT UCON | TERMINAL 2:
Terminal 2 at Kuwait International Airport has been under construction since 28 August 2016 and upon completion, it will be one of the few terminal buildings around the world that are LEED GOLD Certified, a program that assesses building design and construction for innovation and sustainability in energy efficiency, air quality, water usage, building materials in addition to environmental factors and land use as well as public transportation.
